Testing Services

Remote Testing Services

Please consult your Instructor concerning his/her test policies. Examination requirements are usually listed in the Course Details Sheet.

Students who live outside a 50 mile radius of campus and cannot visit the Distance Education Proctoring Office or the NC State campus to take exams may be able to use a proctor in their home area.

All proctoring arrangements are subject to your instructor’s approval. Appropriate proctoring services include local colleges and universities, and in some instances, public libraries and high schools. Proctors must have an verifiable email address (no hotmail, gmail, yahoo, AOL, etc). If the institution has a test administration fee, or if the proctor requires compensation, the student must cover the cost.

Once you have established a proctor, please complete the proctor request form at the link below. The deadline to submit a proctor for approval is September 10. You can still submit your remote proctor, but be aware that the approval process may take several business days, and no materials will be sent until your proctor completes the Proctor Agreement Form sent by our office. For security reasons, the DELTA Testing Center cannot accept any remote proctors submitted by email or phone. Student MUST contact their proposed proctor and verify all test dates with them prior to submitting their information.

PLEASE NOTE: You are required to log in with your Unity ID & Password.

No exam information will be released until the proctor is approved. You and your proctor will be notified via email once your proctoring arrangements have been approved.
