Testing Services

Distance Education testing services The DE Testing Services Center provides both local and remote proctoring services.

The center (located in DELTA's offices in the Venture II building on Centennial Campus) is equipped with a total of 36 work stations: 22 carrels with computers for online testing and 14 carrels for paper-based exams. The computer stations include silent keyboards to minimize noise disruptions. Overflow rooms and additional laptops are available to accommodate peak periods of activity.

Students have 24/7 access to schedule, edit and cancel their exam appointments online. Academic Integrity is ensured via required photo ID presentation, video camera surveillance and full-screen capture of all online testing. Lockers are provided for students to secure personal belongings, and the office promotes a student-friendly environment.

For students who live outside a 50-mile radius of the NC State campus, the DE Testing Services Center can assist with facilitating approval of a remote proctor in their local area.
