Educational Leadership Program (ELP)

The programs in Educational Leadership are offered to educators who aspire to be school administrators and are designed to improve the quality of K-12 schools by preparing leaders who are dedicated to educational excellence and equity. Graduates are expected to use leadership strategies that will improve student performance in environments that are dynamic, interactive and culturally diverse.

The Master’s of School Administration (MSA) is a face-to-face cohort program that meets at sites in Johnston, Harnett, Vance, Franklin, Warren, Granville and Wake counties in North Carolina. Students will complete eight courses plus a year-long full-time building level internship.

The doctoral (Ed. D.) program in school administration and supervision is offered to school personnel as a face-to-face cohort program at sites in Wake and Durham counties.

The cohort membership is reserved for personnel working in the designated counties.
