Several site-based doctoral programs offered through NC State's College of Education provide training and competency for North Carolina school administrators and other career professionals in academic or leadership roles.
Doctor of Education in Adult and Community College Education
Admission to the current 2009 cohort is now closed. Executive weekend format doctor of education cohort program offered in Charlotte, NC enhances the professional practice of those serving adult learners. New cohorts are admitted at three-year intervals.
Doctor of Education in School Administration
For North Carolina educators who aspire to school administration; designed to improve the quality of K-12 schools by preparing leaders dedicated to educational excellence and equity. Enrollment limited to personnel working in Durham and Wake counties, North Carolina.
