Community College Teaching Graduate Certificate Program
The College of Education’s Adult and Higher Education (ACCE) and Mathematics, Science, and Technology Education (MSTE) departments have teamed together to offer the Graduate Certificate in Community College Teaching. The program offers knowledge and skills necessary to design and deliver course-related content through technology-enhanced learning environments for faculty who teach in both the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) related areas, as well as in other content areas offered in higher education. The courses developed for the graduate certificate will enhance faculty abilities in both online and classroom environments. This program was initiated through the funding of the Advanced Technological Education Division of the National Science Foundation.
Past participants have noted the significant impact of this certificate program and these courses on their reframing of how they design their instructional work, in their ability to identify different instructional and evaluation strategies, and in their efforts to be effective in both an in-class and on-line instructional environments.
Admissions:
Academic Requirements: applicants must
