Faculty Resources
As a faculty member at NC State, providing you with quality support and helping you achieve success are two important goals for DE Staff. Highlighted in this portion of the website are a broad range of information and resources available to you as faculty participating in distance education. A quick overview of DE is provided for new faculty in addition to a Faculty Manual that is updated on a semester-basis. Resources include such things as important university contacts, step-by-step guides, library and technical support services, computer requirements and UNITY accounts, policies, procedures, how to order textbooks, and career counseling. - Faculty Manual – The DE Faculty Handbook is designed to provide you with every advantage for making your distance education experience rewarding and successful. The handbook is updated each semester and includes information for faculty who teach distance students through cable television, Internet, interactive TV, CDs, DVDs, and off-campus face-to-face.
- Faculty Resources – Find resources that can support teaching and learning in technology rich learning environments. Resources include those specific to courses, instruction and technology, as well as schedules, grant assistance and marketing services.
