Enrollment Requirements

Just like all NC State courses, Distance Education courses occasionally will carry an enrollment requirement. These requirements may be on all of the seats in the class, or may be used to reserve a portion of the seats. Below is an example of how a course appears in MYPACK, the online registration system.

Many DE courses are scheduled with a small percentage of seats held for Non-Degree Studies students. This requirements provides non-degree students (whose window of registration traditionally opens later than degree students) an opportunity to register for DE courses. The requirement is the only means to provide equitable enrollment access for these students.
