On-Site
NC State offers face-to-face, site-based instruction to members of business and industry, government agencies and other organizations or groups. The advantages include participating in the comfort of one's own workplace or at a site convenient to learners, such as a community college campus or nearby office. Courses require attendance at exact dates and times, which fosters classroom discussions with colleagues and co-workers. Often communication outside the classroom is encouraged in the form of email, threaded discussions or group projects.
On occasion, a course may require visits to campus for assignments and/or exams. Please check the Course Details Sheet or with the Professor for individual course requirements. The Course Details Sheet (a detailed informational sheet) for each course is available by visiting the Courses link, selecting a semester, department, and then a course from the listing. You will see a link to the right of each course for the Course Details Sheet.
