Survey Information

The Assessment and Diversity Unit currently provides three specific types of assessment:

Special Projects

These assessment projects may be arranged with Distance Education Units at NC State or with outside entities.  Such projects are related to enhancing student and faculty satisfaction with Distance Education and/or with enhancing the diversity of populations served through Distance Education.

Distance Education Administrative Services Survey

During the fall and summer semesters, a survey is sent to Distance Education students to ascertain the performance of Distance Education Administrative Services.

The Spring 2008 Distance Education Administrative Services Survey will launch Friday, April 4, 2008 and it will be online until Friday, April 11, 2008.

Annual Faculty Survey

Each year, a Distance Education Faculty Survey is conducted to obtain important feedback from faculty about Distance Education experiences.

The Assessment and Diversity Unit does not conduct the ClassEval, previously known as the University Evaluation of Instruction or UEI.  For more information about ClassEval, please visit the University Planning and Analysis website at http://www2.acs.ncsu.edu/UPA/classeval/index.htm
