The following are services that the Assessment and Diversity Unit in Distance Education can provide for you.
Collaboration
If your NC State department would like to sponsor a conference or other event related to Distance Education assessment and diversity, the Assessment and Diversity Unit may be able to help you. Please make your request at least 90 days in advance of the event to allow for planning. In addition, Assessment and Diversity will be willing to partner with your group to develop outside grant opportunities that promote more diversity and assessment activities.
Coordination of Distance Education Student and Faculty Assessment
The Assessment and Diversity Unit is charged with assisting in the collection of data that relates to Distance Education services and diversity to insure that DE students are being served in a quality manner. Also, the Assessment and Diversity Unit assists with the in-house coordination of surveys for DELTA so that our methods will not overwhelm students, but instead, increase student likelihood of providing feedback.
